The CSP Bible
The 17 Commandments:
1. Focus on a specific market.
2. Control cash.
3. Control costs RUTHLESSLY.
4. Adapt our product to meet customers’ needs.
5. Carry out and react to market research constantly.
6. Build a team that is compatible and has the skills to finance, produce, sell and market.
7. Take care of all shareholders, staff and customers
8. Pay PAYE and VAT.
9. Identify growth areas for Cognitive Science Partners.
10.Gain new markets and constantly achieve market growth.
11.Make sure we have enough working capital.
12.Measure cashflow monthly.
13.Make sure all customer accounts are up to date. Do not extend credit terms.
14.Hire the BEST sales and marketing team possible.
15.Be very careful entering leasing agreements.
16.Guard IP and all trade secrets as if life depended on them.
17.Court potential future financial backers whenever possible.
